Sat, May 22 - Flåm Railway, Fjord Cruise In Nærøyfjord and Transfer to Bergen
Fjord Cruise In Nærøyfjord. Experience one of Norway’s most breathtaking natural wonders on a scenic fjord cruise through the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord. The journey between Flåm and Gudvangen takes place aboard a modern, fully electric vessel designed for silent, sustainable travel. Glide past towering cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and tiny mountain farms as you sail through the narrow fjord – considered one of the most beautiful in the world. The cruise is a public departure, yet offers a peaceful and immersive way to take in the dramatic landscapes of Western Norway.
Transfer to Bergen. Located on Norway’s southwestern coast, Bergen sits in the heart of Scandinavia’s fjord country. In fact, Sognefjord, the longest and deepest of its kind in Norway, is just steps away. The town itself, the second largest in Norway with almost 300,000 denizens, dates back around 900 years. The oldest building in town is the 12th-century St. Mary’s Church. Bergen was mostly made up of buildings constructed of logs and tar-covered houses until a fire ravaged the city in 1702. Some structures remained but the city was rebuilt in “modern” 18th-century fashion.
